  I live in Lethbridge. Both my family and Myself have been the victims of multiple thefts as well as a hit and run and most recently a physical assault. We report every incident but in every case the result is the same. No result. I fully understand that there are not unlimited resources at their disposal, but it sure would be nice if there were at least some semblance of empathy when we are victimized. We are law abiding citizens and we deserve to feel safe in our community. There are major socioeconomic issues in Lethbridge that cause most of these smaller cases to fall to the wayside due to the police force continually focusing on dealing with the same people day in day out, call it what you will but it sure doesn't feel like a safe place to live. If you plan to live in Lethbridge get used to being a victim of a gradually escalating level of crime with little or no assistance from your police force. Life in the windy city? Enjoy being a constant victim.

  I witnessed an accident/ assault and took time out of my day to go in and give a statement because I'm a good person. I showed the constable handling the case a video i took and he was snooping through my pictures. Thats the last time I'm volunteering my time and resources. Rude.

  The police force are hypocrites as they allow people to do illegal stuff in their homes instead of apprehending and confiscating them. Corrupt "police" force. Don't rely on these guys to save you as they are public servants. They have proved multiple times that they are not Loyal to the code of ethics and they turn a blind eye to innocent civilians in need of help from criminals.

  First of all, I just want to give a big thank you to Constable Daryl Pike with the Lethbridge Police Service. I work for a local business that had a theft occur after business hours. I called the police the next morning and Daryl was prompt at arriving at our location. He did a thorough inspection and tracked down our missing inventory within a few hours! I was truly amazed with how quick him and his staff found the culprits with such limited resources. In an industry where you only hear mainly negative things, I’m glad to share a positive experience and I can’t thank them enough for their hard work
