  So I didn't go back for months. Went in today and cancelled my membership. Predatory terms say I have to pay for another month of service that I won't use. My advice. Don't go here and don't *ever* sign a contract here. There are newer, friendlier places with better equipment and helpful staff.

  Not as clean as it used to be, especially the bathrooms. The free one hour personal training session was 20 minutes of training and 40 minutes of sales pitch for "real" personal training at $100 per hour. Broken equipment goes unfixed for months. The above items were not a deal breaker, but the last time I was there I was stared down by 'roid boys and that made me feel unsafe.

  I keep on coming back to see if things have changed but keep on leaving disappointed. For almost 12 years I have been a member off and on, mostly off and have found that it just never changes. They won't listen to the complaints that the steam room is not working properly. They think that keeping between 95 -105 is best. Many have complained, it gets changed for a week to about 105 to 110 degrees F, but then goes back again.

  Sad...there is just too much competition out there now in Lethbridge and they are losing members because they don't listen to their clientele.

  The steam room is nothing more than an incubation chamber for colds and flu, as well as other viruses at 95 to 105 degrees F. They just don't get it! They don't understand that for many a steam after a workout is just the same as a workout station in the gym...it is part of the routine.

  If you want a gym with a working steam, don't bother going here, they promise you it is working, but in fact it only works close to where it should about 5% of the time.

  Great location and very friendly staff that bond with members. Combined with regulars, you quickly feel at home. The women's gym upstairs is a good escape to attempt and fail at planks or pelvic floor moves.

  Been going here for 10 years, equipment it ok, hasn't changed much, if you refer a friend they will bend over backwards to make sure that they dont have to give you your free month, so dont expect that ever.
