  An untrustworthy and dangerous place to have your vehicle worked on! After Ellis did a job on our van, they recommended we change our brake pads. They wanted to do it, but that's an easy enough job that we can do ourselves. A couple days later, when we removed the tires to change the brakes, we noticed that a large part (I believe it's called the steering knuckle) was completely cracked in half! When we contacted Ellis about this, they admitted that they had accidentally cracked this part, but instead of telling us or offering to replace it, they tried to weld it back together and hoped we wouldn't notice. The worst part is that this was a cast metal part which means you should never assume a weld would hold! After all this, I would expect Ellis to be ashamed and apologetic for what they had done, but they were very rude and resistant to help make things right. Ellis Auto sent us out on the road knowing that we had an essential piece of our vehicle that could fail at any point in time. They had no qualms about putting our lives in danger. I will never use their services ever again. They don't deserve to be in business.

  This box is asking me to describe my experience..i can sum it up in one word: horrible. No customer service skills whatsoever, parts quoted at almost double price compared with 2 other garages and on top of that wrong diagnostic on the issue! Do yourself a favour and think twice before accessing this so called "trusted" service!
